Business Intelligence Engineer II Location Seattle, WA or Indianapolis preferred, open to remote TeamProject Procurement Ops team will be on-boarding for monitoring network-wide performance of the group. This platform is currently being utilized by ALL Operations across the network. Role The main activities that are expected to support are 1. Develop reliable and efficient data capture systems for existing and new KPIs (Web forms, Apps, etc..), i.e., eliminate excel and word based data capture tools currently in use. 2. Work with team to replicate the KPIs in platform 3. Data warehousing architecture for combining multiple data feeds for different KPIs into one database 4. Cleanse and manipulate data to create a clean structure to pull data for each KPI 5. Data visualization that makes most sense for Procurement Ops Top 3 Skills Great communication Understanding of technical process - Expertise in maintaining and scaling DB products (e.g. DynamoDB, Redshift, MySQL, Oracle). How data architecture works Experience 2-3 years, BA degree in Computer ScienceIT related Services Procurement team currently has 2 developers who also act as Coupa and Delphi support. There are currently 17 active projects that require development effort and most if not all will be delayed by 1-2 months. Few of the 17 projects that will be delayed are listed below. 1. Savings tool tracker development 2. Blanket PO management 3. Delphi tool improvement delay 4. Idle asset management tool delay 5. Delay in implementing GCP snaplogic 6. Delphi implementation in EU Develops metrics that provide insight into our business. Administers databases. Develops production code, if needed. Expertise in maintaining and scaling DB products (e.g. DynamoDB, Redshift, MySQL, Oracle). Required skills Database scripts, indexes, partitions, shards, monitors, backups, logs, metrics, availability, recovery (SQL proficient) Preferred skills Designs, builds, and delivers database solutions, appliances, products, or tools.
