Position Summary for Internal Audit Co-Op: As a member of Radian's Internal Audit team you will provide assurance and consulting services to Radian Group and its subsidiaries. These services include independent and team work related to: information gathering, data analysis, audit planning, audit testing, identifying and documenting issues, communicating test results within IA, preparation of written reports, and written or verbal delivery of final results to Radian personnel and management.
As an auditor your primary duties and responsibilities will be to:
* Assist in walkthrough discussions to understand financial, operational or technical processes and document those processes via flowcharts or narratives. * Assist in identifying control strengths and weaknesses, understanding associated risks, and recommendations for corrective action. * Conducting detailed transactional testing of accounts, records and controls with the Senior Auditor. * Summarize testing exceptions and draw conclusions on the degree to which controls and processes exist and are effective. * Assist in gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and helping the audit staff execute audit work. * Help write summary audit reports and prepare work papers. * Assist the audit team in delivering findings and recommendations to Radian personnel. * Perform departmental administrative tasks as required, such as the preparation of reports, agendas, and presentations needed for meetings. * Other duties as requested.
* Must be a student enrolled in the Drexel University Co-Op Program. * Education: High School Diploma and currently enrolled in a college program with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business or IT. * Must have had 1 previous Co-Op experience

Motivated, quick learner with good interpersonal written and oral skills. Willing to build a positive professional reputation and to work diligently to gain valuable experience and future professional contacts. Willing to take direction from experienced corporate audit practitioners in return for learning the art and science of internal auditing.
