The Forensic Services Evaluation Supervisor is responsible for supervisory and administrative responsibilities for a team of evaluators/assessors who complete behavioral health assessments with justice involved individuals.

Responsibilities: are to include, are not limited to:

* Provide day to day supervision to a team of evaluation/assessment staff which are responsible for completing behavioral health assessments for criminal justice involved individuals

* Review and assign within identified timeframes all referrals received for clinical evaluation/assessment

* Review and critique all evaluation/assessments within specified timeframes.

* Ensure evaluation/assessments meet quality standards as specified by contractual requirements and/or agency expectations

* Ensure evaluation/assessments are completed within identified timeframes as agreed upon by contractual organizations (i.e. program funders), collaborating organizations or Forensic Services established protocols

* Provide initial orientation and on-going training to staff (including documentation of these activities)

* Provide bi-weekly individual supervision to evaluation/assessment staff (including documentation of these activities)

* Coordinate activities with collaborating agencies including the Defenders Association of Philadelphia, District Attorneys' Office of the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Department of Prisons and the network of FIR identified treatment providers

* Represent Forensic Services at provider meetings, meetings with collaborating partners and treatment programs as requested

* Participate in program planning activities as needed to ensure quality services to contractual organizations and program participants

* Ensure staff meets all CBH, BHSI, DDAP and PHMC credentialing/compliance requirements as mandated

* Participate as a member of the Forensic Services Supervisory Team

* Ensure staff meets or exceeds all established productivity targets on a weekly/monthly basis

Skills:

* Excellent written and oral skills

* Ability to work in a professional manner and interact with a variety of behavioral health and criminal justice professionals

* Strong organizational skills

* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

* Proficiency with computer skills and working in databases needed

Experience:

* Minimum of 4 years' experience working with substance abuse populations; experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders is a plus

* One to two years' experience completing behavioral health assessments

* One to two years' experience in providing supervision in either a behavioral health or social service setting

* Experience working with criminal justice population is a plus

* ASAM certified

* Knowledge of DSM-V and ability to assign diagnostic codes

* Knowledge of the behavioral health system in Philadelphia

Experience:
