Madison Avenue luxury clothing retailer Paul Stuart is looking for a seasoned Associate Director of Logistics and Facilities to join our small but highly productive Operations department. Under the guidance of the VP of Finance and Administration, the ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and energetic leader with an interest in luxury menswear.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Director of Operations and Logistics will help find ways to streamline the many different processes required to bring the Paul Stuart business to life and maintain seamless operations going forward. This role is unlike any other as the scope of work is broad covering areas including, supply chain, and facility management, and you'll be engaging with external partners, a wide range of internal teams, and work closely with corporate management team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Develop and implement operations procedures and initiatives for all aspects of the supply chain activities including inbound merchandise receipts, stockroom standards, replenishment, and outbound operations.
* Manage entire shipping and receiving process for NY, and oversee DC and two Chicago Paul Stuart retail locations
* Reinforce execution of processes with in-store colleagues and other central stakeholders within the team and other teams to ensuring the highest level of operations standards.
* Ensure timely movement of merchandise while ensuring your team adheres to all procedures and guidelines, including but not limited to transfers, damages, return, etc.
* Assist annual inventory process in partnership with store Operations and Finance
* Help our in store teams deal with any sort of issues they may encounter from fixtures to store technology to ticketing
* Manage capital and expense budgets within the domain of operations and logistics (e.g. freight, fixture installation, store supplies)
* Identify opportunities to increase business process efficiencies and reduce costs
* Oversee the maintenance and facilities team along with the expense budgets for all retail stores and company operations
* Perform other duties as assigned.

THINGS YOU'LL NEED

* 6+ years of experience in the field
* Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to adapt quickly
* Proven experience in building and executing processes around operations and logistics
* Financial and operational acumen
* Experience in working at retail establishment with a physical retail footprint
* Strong communication, both in-person and through cloud-based tools and platforms
* Cross-functional exposure and experience in past roles
* Experience quantifying and developing processes that measure a range of different results
* Ability to attract, develop and retain top talent
* Ability to inspire others to action through influence and advice
* Comfort operating in non-hierarchical cultures and navigating hierarchical ones
* Ability to flex schedule based on needs
* Bachelor's degree required
