The fall interns will gain valuable publishing experience as they help editors and editorial assistants in manuscript preparation and other editorial tasks. Responsibilities include: Researching markets, arranging for and tracking reviews, and day-to-day correspondence. Interns will have the opportunity to meet and gain insight into other departments, as well.
Required Education/Skills: The successful intern will be intelligent, detail oriented, highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects, well spoken, outgoing, reliable, and an independent, self-motivated worker. Applicant must be enrolled in a degreed program with at least one year of schooling completed or graduated from a degreed program in the past year. Strong Word, Excel skills. Personable, Detail-Oriented, Hardworking. Strongly Considering a Career in Publishing.
