Remote role can be located anywhere in the Eastern Region
The Director of Field Marketing will lead a dynamic team and execute strategic programs in the Eastern US to support a $160M run rate business. You will develop an impactful marketing plan in concert with the VP of Sales and Regional Directors of enterprise accounts.
This role, reporting to the Senior Director of LEWPS (LATAM Americas, East, West, Public Sector), will generate awareness and create demand using a variety of marketing campaigns, vehicles and tactics including account-targeted programs, with the primary objective of generating pipeline and accelerating the sales cycle.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, data-driven marketer that uses insights and a deep understanding of the regional marketing to align with the business. He or she is a team player collaborating with the Directors of West, Public Sector and LATAM Marketing as well as Commercial and Partner Marketing teams. Candidate is a player coach with strong leadership skills, who can grow and mentor our team.
This role will:
* Drive an effective, integrated marketing plan that supports bookings and pipeline goals, aligned to the AVP's quarterly objectives. * Lead a growing team of enterprise field marketers in Southeast and MidAtlantic regions. * Set performance goals, analyze success metrics and report results with complete transparency in order for continual improvement. * Create and execute account-based marketing strategies within designed framework aligning to sales needs and goals. * Drive behavior to consistently achieve marketing targets and objectives * Act as liaison between corporate marketing and the field; be the face of marketing to the field sales teams, and conversely communicate needs of the field back to corporate marketing. * Establish and proactively manage regional budget, being vigilant in tracking; and effective in spend. * Build and maintain relationships with all local sales teams, channel partners, and technology alliance partners. * Develop deep understanding of target audience, including pain points, spending profiles, key projects and initiatives, and competing solutions, in each region * Align and customize global campaigns to fit regional needs.
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in event or field marketing * Managed and mentored direct reports. * Proven track record of working with sales leaders to build and deliver results. * Proficient with salesforce.com in gathering analytics and understanding data and insights. * Comfortable with travel in region * Able to work in a fast-paced, highly matrix organization * Comfortable in an environment where change is a constant * Clear, thoughtful communicator (verbal and written) * Creative thinker and program builder with a can-do positive attitude * Experience in social media and developing integrated programs
