BWSR is the Decontamination, Decommissioning, and Demolition (D&D) sub-contractor at the Fluor Marine Propulsion (FMP) facility in West Mifflin, PA, and performs the remediation of legacy nuclear and environmental materials on site. The main project areas at the site include remediation of historical research facilities, demolition of buildings, and characterization of site-infrastructure to support on-going maintenance and construction. Lead Project Manager - BWSR (BWX Technologies, Inc) - West Mifflin, PA Position Duties / Responsibilities: This position is the line manager for the Project Management organization with seven direct reports, reporting to the Site Manager as part of his senior management team. This position also serves in the collateral role of Deputy Site Manager prioritizing the site's day-to-day operations, coordinating and overseeing site leadership activities as a \"greater among equals\", and serving as the Acting Site Manager in the Site Manager's absence. This position is responsible to lead effective implementation of the Earned Value Management System for BWSR-Bettis Pittsburgh. BWSR-Bettis Pittsburgh will perform decontamination and decommissioning services under a multiple yearcontract. This position is responsible for the effective management, including detailed planning and execution of complex, multi-year projects through identification and completion of critical path and parallel work activities to achieve optimum performance. This position is responsible for software systems implementation and data administration for enterprise scheduling, resources, and earned value management tool sets. Job Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor of Science in relevant degree (Engineering, Science, Business) with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager. Certification as a Project Management Professional is required. Minimum of 5 years' experience in field demonstrating increased levels of responsibility with a minimum of 5 years' management/supervisory experience on large, complex projects involving radioactive and/or hazardous waste generation and disposal. The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE \"L\" clearance.
