The Manager of Marketing Automation and Operations plays a unique role within the greater Marketing Operations team. This person will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities, as well as taking on strategic initiatives and projects in helping maintain and evolve the team's role within the Marketing department and beyond. The role will focus on the flawless execution of day-to-day operations, architecture of automation campaigns, email segmentation and deployment, and forward thinking strategic projects. The role requires excellent organizational skills, as well as a strong eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities

Systems Management

* Oversee the integration of Eloqua, Salesforce, as well as various other components of the marketing stack. Have a desire to test and implement new technologies that would help make our process more efficient
* Understand systems limitations and bottlenecks and help strategize how to prevent them before occurring
* Architect new nurture campaigns, as well as maintain existing ones
* Troubleshoot complexities that arise from marketing automation
* Run monthly analytics to find where issues are arising or may arise in the future
* Build multi-step campaigns with direction from senior staff

Sales Enablement

* Work closely with our Sales Development team to identify issues and improve the quality of leads
* Educate new reps on how to utilize reports available to them and how to get the most out of Eloqua Profiler and Salesforce
* Advise sales staff on how to leverage website activity reports

Reporting and Analytics

* Has worked with both the enterprise and self-serve marketing funnels
* Ability to run reports, which have turned into actionable insights (Excel, SFDC, Tableau, Google Analytics)
* Ensure thorough documentation for all of the marketing operations best practices
* Oversee the website chat through Intercom, report monthly on funnel analysis and chatter feedback
* Maintain clear insight into nurture track performance by conducting monthly analysis
* Have an understanding of monthly email performance; spot trends that are both positive and negative

The candidate for this position should possess

* 3-5 years of relevant experience (Eloqua/Salesforce experience is a must)
* Understanding of integrations between various marketing systems
* Desire to identify inefficiencies and offer solutions to help bridge gaps
* Highly organized and autonomous, but also collaborative and able to work cross-functionally

Bonus points if

* Experience with advanced database segmentation
* Eloqua certification
* Experience with HTML5 or Javascript
* Experience in Tableau
