The?Senior Associate, Compensation, North America will report to the Total Rewards Lead, NA & LA and will be primarily responsible for?developing and implementing market competitive compensation tools, practices and processes which align with the organization?s pay for performance philosophy and to drive superior business performance.??Additional responsibilities include supporting broader compensation activities, developing analytical insights to influence and lead special projects and performing ad hoc requests.

You will have fun in this role if you have a love to think through and create efficient processes that enables the role to contribute at a strategic level and not get bogged down by daily challenges. Excel proficiency is a must.





Mondelez has its own shared service center in Costa Rica to manage all compensation processes and this role keeps a high level purview on their performance. The primary contribution of this role is to strategize and support the business needs of North America region.



Primary Responsibilities:











  • Support and lead the annual salary structure review process for North America; train, coordinate, review and approve new salary structure and merit increase grids and gain senior management buy in. Work closely with Shared Services, HR, Compensation and the North America President.

  • Review market data and recommend annual adjustments to wage structures for hourly non-union employees and annual salary structure movement for unique ranges, including University Relations hiring rates by assessing external market data/conditions as well as internal factors.? Partner with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Labor to develop appropriate communication strategy and materials.

  • Ensure flawless execution of HQ incentive programs, and support design of special North America incentive programs, including Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) and Field Operations Incentive Plans (FOIP).? Partner with HR and business leaders to recommend programs that meet the pay for performance philosophy and align with the functional strategic initiatives and drive business results.

  • Develop high quality, easy to use communication and working instruments and compensation tools which allow HRBLs and managers to leverage compensation programs.

  • Closely work with and exchange best practices with US HQ?s, other Mondelez Region Compensation, Benefit and IA Directors and Managers

  • In accordance with Global reward and recognition programs, consult and advise on functional award programs and contests for the sales force.

  • Support North America Compensation Team in ensuring compensation programs meet internal and external requirements through annual reviews and pay equity studies.


Qualifications:









  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is required.

  • Minimum of two or more years of compensation, HR, finance or related business experience ?

  • Must have demonstrated analytical skills, data analysis and interpretation skills?

  • Must be an advanced user of excel along with demonstrated experience in performing calculations, setting up and working with pivot tables and V Look Up to name a few. ??????????????????????? ???

  • Ability to influence using reasoning and analytics

  • Strong project management experience in order to manage mid to large scale projects.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??
