Job OverviewFunction as a key member on Marchex's call marketplace partner management team. Act as central liaison and relationship owner between external partners and Marchex, and lead their interaction with internal Product Development, Ad Operations, Finance, and Account Management to grow relationships. Focus on out-bound business development and relationship building with new, high value prospective partners. Participate in originating, vetting, and managing new and existing advertiser accounts within vertical of expertise on an as need basis.Job ImpactThis role oversees distribution for a portfolio of accounts within media distribution, thereby directly impacting revenue stability and growth for Marchex's call marketplace. The Senior Partner Manager is responsible for maintaining critical relationships with partners and fulfilling budget while hitting KPIs for advertisers. Key impacts include stabilizing/growing media budget fulfillment, margin goals, and creating solutions that ensure client success and retention. In addition, this role plays a key role in the enterprise sales process in terms of communicating the value proposition of the marketplace to prospective and existing advertising clients.TeamThe Partner Management team builds the distribution that drives the performance our clients hire Marchex to deliver. Team members not only collaborate on managing a roster of partner relationships that form the media network, they are also subject matter experts in media sourcing and tactics that drive value for our clients. This deep understanding of the market, media, and relationships creates a unique team atmosphere in which relationship development, negotiations, data crunching, and creative solutions finding are an integral part of everyday life. Team members find themselves working on every step of the media lifecycle, from partner development, to new client sales, to media planning, optimization, and product development for the call marketplace.Outline of Duties and Responsibilities* Manage existing relationships with distribution partners and grow the revenue related to each respective relationship.* Manage distribution to 7 figure monthly revenue goals as well as partner and product-oriented goals.* Own high level relationships with strategic partners and provide input to the team to successfully grow relationships.* Display individual and team leadership on Business Development aimed at growing new, high value relationships and new client sales.* Think strategically and demonstrate strong judgment to effectively grow high value-add partnerships with long term growth potential.* Analyze strategic partnerships based on their potential value to Marchex and Marchex Advertisers.* Identify opportunities to increase revenue with current and prospective distribution relationships.* Provide guidance to Ad Operations and Product Development on specific needs, expectations, and implementation of new products and programs for distribution partnership.* Participate in monthly meetings with various groups from around the organization, including senior leadership, on ongoing initiatives and status updates related to strategic partnerships.* Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.* Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.Experience, Skills and Qualifications* BA/BS or equivalent experience required.* 5+ years' experience in digital advertising or similar industry in a sales or business development role.* In-depth understanding of all online and mobile advertising models (CPM, CPC, CPA, etc.).* In-depth knowledge of mobile advertising business and associated revenue models.* Experience working in goal oriented, fast-paced environment.* Comfortable with large, multi-billion dollar companies and specific revenue goals.* Strong technology understanding and ability to communicate with Executive, Product and Technical teams.* Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.* Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently.1Don't see the right job?
