Job Function Summary:
The Service Coordinator works in conjunction with the Field Service organization and Dispatchers to review, coordinate, plan, and schedule all service activities for their assigned regions. The position will require attention to detail to ensure proper information is scheduled and dispatched to the field service organization of 300+ SW Service employees. The position also coordinates after-hours services, maintains the calendar for service personnel, and communicates any changes to the answering services.
Job Functions : (Primary essential duties and responsibilities) Reviews, coordinates, plans and schedules all service activities for assigned regions Makes the decisions regarding the scheduling and movement of personnel and materials Maintains the calendar for service personnel Ensures customer expectations and commitments are met based upon nature of call, urgency, contractual obligation, available resources, and customer needs while delivering high quality service Provides support, information, prioritization, and coordination of assignments for field service personal Routes misdirected calls to the appropriate Getinge team as required Creates final checks for install orders in SAP and dispatches to field from information received from various Customer Service teams Assists in sourcing parts between techs and facilitates the stock movements in SAP Contacts customers to reschedule appointments as required Closes service orders in Getinge's mobile solution per defined processes and predefined compliance standards Dispatches and updates service orders in SAP as requested by Service management and field personnel Coordinates after-hour services and communicates changes to the answering services Completes reporting on Field Service personnel and materials Any additional ad hoc projects may be assigned by Service management
Required Skills and Abilities: High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Positive, can do attitude with ability to multi-task and meet customer needs in an evolving environment. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Positive, can do attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with an ERP system (ideally SAP) is preferred. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Experience and Education Requirements: Associates Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum of 2 years experience providing internal and/or external customer phone support, preferably supporting service or sales. Preferred experience scheduling service activities and work calendars in a dispatching environment and using SAP or an industry standard ERP system.
