Our laboratories, located at all of our acute care hospitals and throughout the Philadelphia region, collect samples from thousands of people every year. We use advanced lab testing to uncover or keep an eye on a wide range of diseases. Our pathologists work closely with our doctors to review individual test results and answer any questions patients may have.

The Lab currently has an opening for a Sr. Lab Assistant - Shift is 3-1130pm every other weekend and two holiday rotations per year/flexibility on hours/requires 4 to 8 weeks of training on day shift.
Under the general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the Senior Clinical Laboratory Assistant processes and handles specimens for testing in multiple Clinical and Anatomic areas of the laboratory.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent, certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred, moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.
Licensures & Certifications: N/A
Minimum two years related working experience in an anatomic or clinical laboratory. At least one year must be with Main Line Health Laboratories performing duties in two laboratory departments.
Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred
Other Special Skills: Must demonstrate skill in a minimum of 2 laboratory departments. For example, Specimen Processing Microbiology Processing
