Main Line Health's Mirmont Treatment Center has provided inpatient and outpatient treatment for patients with drug and alcohol dependence since 1985. Mirmont Treatment Center is located on 33 acres in Lima, Delaware County, in a spacious facility that includes treatment areas for individual and group therapy, a fitness center, and 900-square-foot meditation hall.
Our nationally acclaimed Valor with Integrity Program for Emergency Responders (V.I.P.E.R.) provides addiction and trauma treatment for law enforcement/police, firefighters, EMTs and combat veterans. Per Diem, Crisis Specialist
Provides comprehensive behavioral evaluations for all identified patients in the Emergency Departments. Interfaces with all necessary personnel, payer groups, agencies, physicians and psychiatrists to arrange appropriate disposition of the patient. Provides services for patients ranging in age from child through older adult. Services are for on-call hours (evening, night, weekend and holiday hours) seven days per week.
Education: Bachelors degree in Psychology or Counseling, BSW or BSN is required. Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or Nursing preferred.
Experience: Bachelors level candidates must have a minimum of three years experience in behavioral evaluation and psychiatric crisis intervention. Masters level candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in behavioral evaluation and psychiatric crisis intervention.
