The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development support for the Missile Mechanical Controls on the CPS Program. Primary responsibility will include development of control system requirements and functional analysis of the electromechanical thrust vector control system. The candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for problem solving and the ability to complete challenging analytical assignments. The position also requires interfacing with various stakeholders within and beyond the immediate group (electrical, materials, structural teams, etc).
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemistry, Materials, Electrical Engineering or other related discipline
Working knowledge of electromechanical thrust vector control systems
Proficiency with Matlab
Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools
Proven desire and ability to own complex technical challenges through solution
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and with adjacent disciplines
Proficiency in IDEAS, Creo, and EPDM
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
