The Well-Being Program serves aging persons in Santa Cruz County through an innovative service which encourages activities to enhance emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual quality of life. Following a quality of life assessment performed by a professional care manager, a Lifespan Personal Assistant will be matched with the client and engage in individually selected activities.
Lifespan is interviewing for our Personal Assistant positions starting in June.
Personal Assistant Responsibilities
Carry out a variety of activities aimed at improving the client s quality of life
Carry out art based activities within assisted living facilities and client s homes
Carry out social/recreational activities within assisted living facilities, client s homes, and in the community
Assist with exercise and fitness
Escort to medical appointments
Tech/computer support for aging individuals with limited computer skills
Arrange & accompany to cultural experiences (i.e. museums, theater, concerts)
Pay ranges from $18-$22 per hour
