Seeking candidates on track for BS in Mechanical, Biomedical or other related Engineering discipline Location: West Chester, PA Length: 12 Weeks. 3rd June - 23rd August 2019 Pay: $15.00/hour Job Description As a Device Development Engineering Intern, you will participate in the, development, verification and validation of combination products in support of global R&D pipeline with special focus on the parenteral delivery of biologics and biosimilars. You will gain knowledge of the regulations, directives, guidelines and standards relevant to the combination products on which you contribute. You will be exposed to a global team of biologics and combination products developers who are motivated by the opportunity to have a positive impact on patient ??s lives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ? Contribute to user needs and product requirements (Design Inputs), specifications (Design Outputs), verification and validation plans and reports and other design history file documentation in accordance with Quality Management System. ? Assist in the authoring of Standard Operating Procedures ? SolidWorks solid modeling and drawing ? Lab equipment identification, procurement, qualifications and test method development ? Design and develop robust test protocols to challenge product performance including robustness testing and Design of Experiments ? As a ??Hands on ? intern you may lead the development of rapid prototype models, design fixtures, participate in small quantity builds as required, and execute testing. ? Create technical drawings, reports, data and other documents. ? Assist in product and process root cause analysis and problem solving ?
