The Johnson and Johnson Medical Device (MD) Sector HEMA Center of Excellence (HEMA COE) is recruiting for a Manager, Franchise Health Economics and Market Access- DePuy Synthes with a preferred location of West Chester, PA (other locations will be considered).The MD HEMA COE supports all HEMA activities across all business units within the Johnson & Johnson Medical Device companies. The Manager, Franchise Health Economics & Market Access (FHEMA) is a key position within the COE and will work to support the business objectives of DePuy Synthes with dedicated responsibility for specific assigned Platforms and projects. The FHEMA Associate will work to ensure market access requirements are understood and built-in to the product pipeline through Target Product Profiles and Value Propositions that reflect the needs of non-clinical stakeholders and the development and execution lifecycle evidence of value and market access strategies that enable market access and commercial success. Responsibilities: Leadership, development and execution of evidence strategies for key products within Trauma and Spine portfolios to support global market access in OrthopedicsDevelopment of robust value propositions for products in the pipeline to meet the requirements of clinical and non-clinical external stakeholdersDevelopment of value tools including value dossiers, value briefs, and economic modelsDevelopment of scientific publicationsDevelopment of evidence development utilizing Real World Data (RWD) sourcesCollaborate closely with global partners to adapt and develop materials for economic stakeholdersGather critical VOC from economic stakeholders to shape evidence developmentSupport evidence generation process for new product development projects QualificationsJob Qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor s degree AND an advanced degree is required, with preference for a degree in a HEMA-related discipline. 5+ years of experience in a highly regulated, commercial medical device, pharmaceutical or consulting business is preferred. Understanding of medical delivery systems, reimbursement, market access conditions and health policy trends in major markets is required. Ability to work on cross-functional teams to develop strategy and lead the execution and value creation in a dynamic organization.Functional and Technical Competencies preferred:Experience in surgical medical devices industry. HEMA experience in one or more areas critical to the medical device organization.Knowledge of global reimbursement systems.This position may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
