Are you up for the challenge? Position Summary This leader will drive the execution of projects & programs which impact multiple functional teams within the broader CFO organization and across Itron. Successful candidates will have deep experience in Project/Program Management and Technology. Finance experience is a distinct advantage. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. In this role, the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with technical teams to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible. This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize. Duties & Responsibilities: * Develop an in-depth understanding of Itron's products, business models, architecture and financial operations. * Manage multiple complex and large projects simultaneously from initiation through delivery. * Act as the Finance Lead on implementations and upgrades related to Itron's ERP system ie Oracle * Ensure strong business case development for all project requests including calculation of return on investment (ROI), assessment of customer value or impact and criteria for measuring project success. * Ensure appropriate finance resources available to work on approved programs/projects, working with functional leaders to achieve this * Lead continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals. * Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities. * Collaborate with other PMs on the team and across Itron to identify and implement best practices. * Interact with Project Sponsors, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features. * Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make * tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. * Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner. * Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have Itron's success firmly in focus. Experience: This position requires a minimum of 12+ years of related experience Required Skills: * Experience supporting finance customers to set and effectively manage expectations, project deliverables, and drive resolution when conflicts or issues arise * Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate conceptual requirements from business owners into detailed business and functional requirements with an emphasis toward scalable and efficient global solutions * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proven record of innovation and thought leadership * Experience effectively presenting to all levels within the enterprise * Proven demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals * Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, etc. Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. Masters or equivalent preferred. Certification(s): PMP Preferred; Project Management Qualification required Travel: 20-30% Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
