This position will coordinate vessel operations and other operational tasks; including communicationsto GKR, agents, vessels, and suppliers.


  • Vessel Schedule Coordination Plan and Communicate vessel schedules Create working programs for vessels based on commercial requirements. Investigate best possible economic result considering short and long term purchasing strategy. Monitor results of schedules and adjust as needed. Maintain appropriate records. Construct and maintain trackers to be used in trend analysis.
  • Process Improvement & Development Seek improvements, alternates, or create new possibilities for Service Plans. Study possibilities for improving service performance. Take action to recommend improvements to supervisor. Monitor further, record, and file.
  • Reporting & Analytics Study industry data and any other form of reporting that will assist focus on improvements. Communicate findings and all analytics with upper managementand follow up. Accumulate industry data& review industry data and report findings of value. Review industry information and report findings of value.

  • Qualifications

    This job requires a High School Degree and Prefers a Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Overall Related Experience:

    2+ years experience in required OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 4+ years of experiencehighly preferred


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with PCs
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with experience using database systems is highly preferred
  • Strong ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment
  • Must possess interpersonal skills in order to work with various departments and customers

  • Typical office environment with low-level noise exposure.
  • The position is based out of the Fort Lee NJ Office
  • Minimal travel may be required (3-6 days per quarter)
  • Communication with employees and field partners will be primarily conducted via phone and email.

    Standing/Walking (Occasionally) Sitting (Continuously) long periods of sitting required at a desk and/or in front of a computer Squatting/Stooping/Kneeling: (Rarely) to as low as ground level while cleaning or picking up products Repetitive use of hand/grasping: (Occasionally) light to forceful manipulating/grasping of product, writing and typing. Reaching: (Occasionally) up to 32 inches in front of body at floor to 60'' heights while reaching for product. Operating desk machines (Frequently) computer, copy machine, fax machine.
