Essential functions include: Collaborate and add value through participation in design reviews, providing comments on electrical design aspects and other engineering areas Evaluate new technologies as they apply to existing functions Participate in project leadership and/or program planning including providing technical input to product development plans and concept documents Make substantial contributions toward determination of project goal/objective feasibility Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced engineers Contribute to advanced technical research on new technologies Independently determine general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems Offer process improvement suggestions and authors new procedures as appropriate Direct and coordinate manufacture of prototypes Assist with the development of integrated circuit (IC) packaging and test equipment, both manual and automated Assist with selection and creation of custom equipment needed in the development of ICs Assist with the development of data collection and analysis to improving device yield and manufacturing methodology Assist with development and management of packaged IC qualification plans Qualified candidates possess a Master of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering AND a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience OR Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from a four-year college or university AND a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
