Overview

Following the recent close of the DuPont transaction, FMC is a significantly larger crop protection company with a broader manufacturing footprint, a more complex supply chain, and a greater need to track, report and analyze business performance in a timely, accurate manner. Beginning in 2018, we will launch an initiative to modernize our business processes and systems, which will include investment in a new SAP suite that will support all core business processes.We have been operating with an SAP system that was installed in the late-1990s, and more recently we added a second SAP system from legacy Cheminova. The DuPont acquisition presents us with a timely opportunity to modernize and consolidate multiple, inefficient IT systems into a single SAP platform that follows chemical industry best practices and can scale to support our company's future growth.This is an important project for FMC, requiring a dedicated team of employees and outside consultants who will work together to modernize every facet of our business processes, including Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Regulatory & Compliance, Procurement, Enterprise Master Data, Reporting & Analytics, and other areas.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Data Management IT Solution Specialist has a broad understanding of his/her process area and is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and modifications of global processes enabled by SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The scope will focus on the continued support of the SAP MDG tool, modifications requested by the business during the project and future ownership of the tool post final release.As a member of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) program team, the IT Solution Specialist will work closely with all members of the EDM Process Team, various project workstreams and IT teams, business stakeholders, and the program implementation partner to assist in the execution of the MDG strategy. The implementation of the SAP MDG tool is based on best practices and standard functionality with minor customization. The IT Solution Specialist will also partner with the Reporting & Analytics team to ensure the master data will support the defined business KPIs.

This position will actively participate in the implementation of the EDM solution across all functional areas impacted by four main master data objects: Material, Vendor, Customer and Finance. The scope will assist in source systems master data cleanse and harmonization, development of a master data governance structure and continued implementation of SAP MDG. The IT Solution Specialist ultimately has the responsibility to understand SAP S/4 HANA capabilities, align with the strategic intent of the implementation and assist the business on the future enterprise data governance process and organization to sustain data integrity with a specific focus on leveraging the technology capabilities to achieve those objectives.

To be successful, the candidate must effectively partner with all levels of the organization, deliver results, and provide expertise and guidance for effective data, technology and process outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the delivery and deployment of standard functionality and best practices with some customization? Responsible for keeping various project tools up to date on documentation, deliverables, risks & issues and status for the Enterprise Data Management workstream? Manage workload to keep to the workstream project plan? Participate in business blueprint sessions for any changes to current design? Participate in data cleansing and harmonization efforts across all source systems? Raise any potential gap in functionality from current design along with possible solutions? Work closely with the functions and Reporting & Analytics team to ensure functional needs are captured and developed

Required Education

Minimum of a bachelor's degree (Computer Science, or related academic discipline) with 3-5 years of relevant functional experience in SAP Configuration

Qualifications

* Willingness to be trained on MDG? Practical knowledge of master data management and governance best practices ? Project management experience in cross-functional systems implementations? Practical experience in a complex environment: multiple system environment, multiple languages, including Asian languages? Experience and knowledge of SAP ERP systems is required, version 4.6c and higher? Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, system configuration, QA test planning and execution, release management, user training, documentation preparation, and production support? Demonstrated skills in working effectively across business lines and partnering with other functions to meet common objectives? Previous experience with multinational companies ( Agrochemical or related industries is a plus)? Experience with SAP S/4 HANA desired? Experience with SAP MDG tool or other MDM tools and implementation experience highly desired but not required:? Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements for MDG Finance, Customer, Vendor & Material Master Configuration ? BRF+ Derivation & Validation for MDG Master Data? MDG & BRF+ configuration for setting up change request ? Data Quality & Search in MDG? DRFIMG configuration for MDG interfaces ? Good to have Data Model & SMT Enhancement knowledge? Proficient in English
