Within EPS, Software Engineering (SE) Development teams are building, testing, and deploying strategic solutions that directly contribute to meeting financial partners needs in the payments space. As a Scrum Master, you are leading one or more Development team(s), ensuring a deep understanding of the goals, scope, dedication and definition of \"ready\" for the work the team(s) will complete. You are the first line of defense against impediments, issues, risks, and other outside factors that stop the Development team(s) from delivering work. You are a servant leader with a responsibility to support continuous improvement of the team(s), including their velocity and quality of delivery. You ensure that metrics are understood, tracked and that the appropriate data is gathered to enable visibility into the performance Best of all, this role presents an opportunity to work with great teams, work for one of Fortune's Most Admired Companies for six years running, as well as contribute to an exciting and dramatic change in the payments landscape over the next several years. **Day-to-day deliverables:** In this role, you can look forward to these essential responsibilities and skills: + Support the Product development by guiding the Scrum team(s) by managing the Sprints and Sprint events and helping with Product and Sprint backlogs management + Eliminate/Raise Scrum team(s) Impediments/Issues/Risks + Promote self-organization and continuous improvement within the team(s) + Collaboration with fellow Scrum Masters in cross team coordination + Facilitate preparation and readiness for Product releases **Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:** + Bachelor's degree + 1+ years as a Scrum Master + 2+ years of experience on or working with Development Teams in Lean/Agile environments + Familiarity with Jira or similar tool + Relevant experience in process improvement/excellence + Enterprise environment experience + Scrum Master certification is a significant plus **Strongly Preferred, Not Required:** + Servant Leadership and team-building capabilities + Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques + Excellent facilitation and communication skills + Strong analytical skills and attention to details + Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, business processes and procedures + Understanding of business applications and workflows + Experience working within Financial Services or FinTech desired **Travel required** **: Not required** Fiserv is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Vet.
