On March 4, 2019, Evonik Industries AG signed a definitive agreement to sell its Methacrylate business to Advent International. This position is part of the business that is being sold to Advent International and therefore will leave the Evonik group.

The Senior Reporting Analyst is a key resource in the Americas Reporting & Planning processes. The incumbent will prepare & coordinate all internal & external reporting of actual and forecasted results to Regional Business management, Global Accounting/Controlling, and external sources (auditors, government and banks) ensuring that the reporting is in compliance with IFRS and Company accounting policies. The Senior Reporting Analyst will also prepare regional financial key metrics such as Cash flow, NWC, & Intercompany profitability and provide insightful analysis to aid management in strategic and operational decision making. This position supports the Planning process by coordinating the preparation of Cost Center budgets with local management and validating uploaded results within the financial systems.


  • Consolidate & report monthly actual and forecasted earnings results to regional and global accounting ensuring that all financial information is accurately and timely entered into the required Madrid reporting systems.

  • Prepare & report on Cash Flow, NWC, DWC, Capex & other key metrics. Provide insightful analysis to regional Madrid management to provide basis for strategic and operational decision making.

  • Prepare financial statements for Madrid Americas ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal company accounting policies.

  • Provide support as needed to the Madrid-Americas Tax & Insurance Managers for all data requests

  • Develop & maintain all reporting tools for Region Americas

  • Coordinate the preparation of all administrative, selling, warehousing & Technical Cost Center Budgets including the creation of the templates, upload into SAP and validation & analysis of the results.

  • Consolidate and report the MTP figures for all Madrid-Americas product lines to Global Controlling and local management

  • Provide requested supporting documentation for all External and Internal Audits which would include Revenue recognition testing, Sales cut-off testing, analysis of key customers & suppliers & select balance sheet analysis.

  • Coordinate submission of all government surveys and any other data requests from outside organizations (Chemical Council, Methacrylate Producers Association, ect)

  • Prepare & provide to Global Treasury the Liquidity Analysis (15 Month forecast of Cash Flow) for Madrid Americas


  • 4 - 6 Years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate financial reporting role or public experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
  • Computer Savvy, proficient in SAP, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills
