The Advanced Manufacturing Operator is responsible for performing any of the CR9 pool positions. Must be able to use miscellaneous equipment and work from miscellaneous verbal and written instructions.
The Advanced Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for assembly of printed wire assembly (PWA) boards, subassemblies, application of labels and operation of testing equipment.
Participate in and support process improvement projects and initiatives as required.
Education and Skills
High school diploma or GED
Ability to understand verbal and written directions, bills of materials, assembly instructions, assembly drawings and associated written materials
Ability and willingness to learn basic PC skills
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Must be able to distinguish colors
Take responsibility for keeping work area free of hazards. Adhere to all established safe work practices
The CR09 Advanced Manufacturing Operator job classification is a pool position meaning it involves numerous possible work assignments, the quality system training requirements for which vary as follows:
Assembly IPC Level 3
Post-Assembly IPC Level 2
Materials IPC Level 1
The candidate selected will be expected to successfully complete the training required for their assignment.
