Einstein campuses are Tobacco and Smoke Free.In this role you will be responsible for:Providing group therapy and participating in recovery team meetings for assigned patients within the two acute inpatient psychiatry unitsCoordinating therapeutic services and supervising the professional staff on the unitsServing as a resource, mentor and role model to the rehab services therapistsServing as coordinator and spokesperson for the discipline-specific topics within the unitsThis position requires providing service to the young adult, adult, older adult, and frail elderly age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual servedIf you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline requiredAt least 3 years of experience in direct treatment of individuals with serious mental illness requiredAt least 1 year of management experience preferredThorough understanding of the recovery model of mental health treatment and previous training in trauma-informed care is preferredPennsylvania licensure or nationally recognized certification in one's discipline is preferredPhysical Demands:Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, walking agility and dexterityVisual Requirements: Near and far visionHearing Requirements: Ability to hear normal conversation and telephone communicationWorking Conditions: Occasional exposure to patients who are aggressive and/or verbally abusive.
