The position must understand and be able to apply the federal Uniform Guidance and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The Executive Director will have had a role in or a working knowledge of administering the Revised Common Rule (45 CFR Part 46 ?? Protection of Human Subjects) in order to serve as the university??s human protections administrator and participate on the Institutional Review Board for human subjects research. The person in this position must possess: leadership ability, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work as part of a team, effective writing and critical thinking skills, and have the ability to receive and provide feedback.
