Directs and own the digital agenda for the accounts, in terms of understanding the current environment, identifying opportunities for expansion, bringing the DXC digital portfolio to bear, and owning the growth mandate for all next generation (inclusive of Digital) technology offerings. Work in tandem with the existing Account General Manager, whose focus will shift to ensuring the successful delivery of the legacy service offerings already present within the accounts.
Essential Job Functions
Serve as the digital champion to a strategic client and drive the firms digital agenda within this account
Become an expert in DXCs digital portfolio of offerings and determine which solutions are most likely to gain traction within a particular client environment, working in alignment with DXC Portfolio, Industry, Solution Development and Alliances teams
Originate, qualify and close transformational digital services engagements, achieving annual signings targets (revenue and pipeline targets), and increasing Digital annual booked revenue (ABR) on assigned acount(s).
Manage and motivate service-line personnel who are delivering programs on their assigned account(s)
Coordinates effectively with other key DXC stakeholders within the industry vertical and Digital offering teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Fifteen or more years of experience in sales, account management, solutioning / delivery, and thought leadership.
Experience of working within a specific industry and shaping the digital agenda for clients in a given industry
Experience of working with C-suite and executive teams on topics such as Digital Strategy & road-mapping, Cloud-based solutions, Experience design U/X, C/X, Multi/Omni-channel experiences, Mobility and IoT, Marketing toolsets (social, mobile), Real-time Analytics & Big Data.
Experience orchestrating and developing compelling business cases that detail associated cost reductions, benefits, TCO and ROI in alignment with client requirements.
Mix of business savvy, vertical industry experience and digital transformation background to facilitate translation of clients agendas into innovative value propositions and qualified opportunities for DXC.
Thorough in preparation understand concept of taking 360-view of the deal (internal networks, politics, the client ecosystem, etc.)
Brings strong commercial presence and sense of urgency to account relationships.
Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
Possesses a provocative point of view on where the CPG / Retail market is headed in digital and the strategies and solutions that firms like DXC must embrace to grow its footprint.
Ability to build meaningful internal and external relationships in both the technology and business organizations.
Ability to remain constantly focused on shaping the practice to meet and anticipate both near and long-term business issues.
