The FP&A analyst position is responsible for providing transparent financial analytical support for the linear media business. This position will work closely with Advertising Sales, Pricing and Planning, Research, and Accounting to provide key insights and actionable analysis.
1. Prepare weekly linear forecast models based on pacing and index vs. PY2. Prepare pacing reports by bundle tracking performance vs. target/vs. PY/vs. forecast3. Prepare weekly sales forecasting packet highlighting any changes and areas of risk and opportunity for the quarter4. Ensure accuracy of financial reporting; work with Accounting to ensure reconciliation to corporate P&L by account5. Track Linear production revenue by advertisers6. Assist in the preparation of annual budget and long-range plan7. Identify key market trends, drivers and variance analysis for earnings discussions by partnering with Accounting, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations8. Assist in special projects & ad hoc analysis as required
* BS degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics or quantitative field* Strong Analytical skills, ability to transform large data sets into clear concise analysis* Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in Excel* Persistent attention to detail* Exceptional team player with strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize time* High energy and sense of urgency in completing all tasks; proactive and enthusiastic to streamlining processes* Entertainment/Digital Media experience a big plus* Must have legal right to work in the United States
