The Opportunity Patina Restaurant Group is seeking for a talented hospitality professional to take on the position of Service Manager and manage the direct flow of service and guest satisfaction of the dining room of their restaurant. This representative must supervise, train and schedule all floor staff, ensuring that they have all of the tools necessary for providing the best possible performance given their assigned duties. The Service Manager confers with food preparation staff and other service personnel to plan menus and other related activities such as banquet functions. The ideal candidate can contribute to the evolution of our service, position in the market, and standard of excellence. Service Managers must serve as a liaison between clients and other corporate executives to ensure consistency, profitability and sustainability in short and long-term projections. This representative will be working with a dedicated group of talented chefs, managers and team members that are hungry to make a big impact on their growth and careers. Responsibilities Recruits, trains, and manages front of house service staff, ensuring they provide consistent delivery of our units product and service within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, and quality. Assists in the training occasionally attend large catering events, and development of foodservice and beverage management unit staff. Effectively supervise floor staff to ensure professional service and guest satisfaction during hours of operation. Educate FOH personnel in product awareness and cultivate long-term service knowledge. Foster a culture in which customer satisfaction is the primary oncern. Responsible for accurately reporting and maintaining company budgets surrounding service and employee expenses. Maintain the Micros database with accurate items and prices. Ultimately responsible for cleanliness and repair of Restaurant and office, facilitating all necessary maintenance procedures. Work closely and with all management staff; Establish open lines of communication between FOH and BOH at all times. Build rapport with restaurant guests and ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience. Qualifications Must have 3 years experience in a managerial position supervising full service, high volume restaurants, hotels, or other food and beverage units with a similar capacity and clientele. Servsafe & Food Safety Handler certifications required. Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification required. Possess strong communication skills to engage, educate and uphold utmost hospitality towards customers, fellow employees and leadership. Maintain an entrepreneurial perspective in all endeavors increasing sales and guest satisfaction. Ability to work effectively despite irregular hours and high-volume conditions.
