US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS ONLY Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 DIGITAL BUSINESS ANALYST The Digital Business Analyst (BA) collaborates with internal and external clients to align tactical choices and implementations with business objectives. The BA works with the Account Manager, Digital Strategy, Project Manager, User Experience Architect and the client to crystallize requirements during Discovery & Analysis and guide business decisions throughout the entire project lifecycle. This is a consultative and objective role, expected to lead the client and agency to the right solutions based on the budget and requirements, rather than platform preferences or allegiances. Our work is project based, offering the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and a number of clients, including some of the largest and best pharmaceutical companies. Position is a client-facing position and may require travel. You will: Work with Account and Project Management (and client-side IT) to clarify and document business requirements Collaborate with Digital Strategy, Usability Architect, and Technology Lead to prepare project documentation Gather and document business requirements by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitating large-group/cross-functional sessions with customers Responsible for developing and maintaining project documentation e.g., Business, Functional, and Use Case specifications documents Work with QA to generate use cases and vet test scripts Identify design/functionality/usability concerns and makes recommendations for fixes Consult with entire project teams - especially Project Managers - to manage project scope and communicate technology issues to clients and the agency Help create estimates and work breakdowns in conjunction with Project Manager and Technology Lead Help present account and project-level pitches, when appropriate Interface and help manage 3rd party vendors when applicable Ensure that all related tactics are consistent with the customer's business strategies Provide subject matter expertise to other teams You have: 2-3 years of BA experience 2 years of analytics and/or metrics reporting Experience with SQL Excellent written and oral communication skills Hands-on experience with most stages of the SDLC, whether in an agile or more traditional methodology You also have (as a bonus): Experience or formal training as a project manager or business analyst Some experience working as a consultant, for a consulting company, or at an agency Digital Agency experience (a HUGE plus) You are: Comfortable and happy working in fast-paced environment Obsessed with problem solving Good at building consensus and persuading others Solutions oriented Able to produce results independently, ask for help when needed, and escalate issues when appropriate Able to work flexible hours, autonomously and in the context of a team, effectively in a diverse workforce/workplace
