New Direction Capital is a Virtual CFO company that excels in helping businesses grow to the next level.We are with our clients through every growth step.We are seeking talented and highly motivated CFOs who have a passion for growth and a desire to work collaboratively within a dedicated team.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Virtual CFO should be a team player and experienced in growing businesses.The Virtual CFO is responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting establishing internal controls, and preparation and reporting of financial statements.This position will work with fast growing clients.Virtual CFOs work with the CEO and Executive Teams of their clients developing strategic growth plans, improvement of systems and accounting processes, develop procedures, maintain relationships with CPA firms, banking, and legal, implementation of dashboards and exit planning as needed.The Virtual CFO oversees all aspects of financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting and long range strategic financial planning.Responsibilities:Plan, organize, evaluate, direct the clients fiscal function and performance.Participate in the development of the clients organizations plansEvaluate and advise of the impact of decisions, impact of new products, ventures etc.Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to CEO and Board.Enhance and enforce polices and procedures that will improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the company.Be a developer of solutions to challengesOptimize the Treasury functionsDevelop a reliable cash flow projection process and forecasting modelsAnalyze, advise and execute on any contracts.Evaluation of the finance and accounting structure and plan for continuous improvement.Financial reporting and analysisManage accounting personnel: A/R Specialist, Bookkeeper, Payroll etc.Oversee the Human Resources Department if neededParticipate and oversee the raising of capital to fund growth if neededMaintain banking relationshipsOther duties as assignedRequirements & Desired Skills:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMasters degree preferred7+ years experience working in a CFO capacityStrong communication skills and leadership abilitiesExcellent judgment and problem-solving skillsAnalytical skillsTeam playerManagement experience preferred, not required
