We are currently interviewing for a CertifiedFinancial Planner (CFP) who will be primarily responsible for assisting the firms Financial Advisors in providing fee-based financial planning services to the firm's clients both in-person at our office and remotely/virtually online.This is not a sales position.

Candidate must be able to handle a heavy workload, work efficiently and independently. As an organization focused on providing both in-person and fee-based virtual planning services, the candidate must be extremely comfortable with technology and in conducting virtual planning and review meetings using screen sharing programs such as Join.me, GoToMeeting, eMoney etc.

Qualifications:

CFP Certification
Minimum 2+ years of financial planning experience
Bachelors degree required.
Expert understanding of financial, retirement, investment, and estate planning concepts
Experience utilizing Financial Planning software programs. Use of eMoney preferred.
Confidence and ability to clearly communicate in laymens terms complex topics to clients
Able to perform several tasks concurrently, to prioritize work, and to take direction from multiple team members
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills
Very organized, strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills
High standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity



Primary Responsibilities:

Meet with clients in-person or remotely and collect, organize and synthesize personal and financial information
Utilize eMoney and other planning software to run planning analysis while working collaboratively with clients, other team members, and clients other trusted advisors
Develop, write and present modular and comprehensive financial plans to clients including, pre and post-retirement income analysis, budgeting, debt management, risk management, estate, and charitable planning, cash flow management, and net worth statements
Field ad hoc planning questions from clients
Act as an internal consultant to provide subject matter expertise to FAs/IARs
Keep current on financial planning topics, tax law changes etc. impacting the advice being offered
Prepare for and run planning review meetings with clients
