Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) The Job: The Business Development Manager will develop and implement sales efforts of the company revenue and strategic objectives. Drawing on knowledge of manufacturing operations and experience related to direct sales, the Business Development Manager will conduct introductory meetings related to the company's business services as well as information discovery meetings. The Business Development Manager will deliver written proposals to prospective and existing clients, and endeavor to close sales. Additionally, The Business Development Manager will execute advertising and other marketing programs to enhance brand awareness and demand for the company's services. Responsibilities: Work directly with affiliated companies, including industrial and commercial organizations, accounting firms and other associated businesses to expand existing sales. Meet with the owners and C-level managers of manufacturing companies, sales representatives and other business associates for the purpose of promoting the company's services. Identify business opportunities in which to develop new sales channels and/or expand existing channels. Maintain client and prospective client information using the company's information system. Work with the President and senior staff to establish sales objectives and marketing strategies. Work with senior management and other staff members to enhance direct sales activities. Make sales presentations to senior executives of prospective clients and channel contact firms. Close business orders at a level equal or exceeding objectives.
