As the Sr. Vice President, Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for Concord Management Resources (\"Company\" or \"CMR\") overall sales and marketing strategy, sales service, support and account management for current and future business clients.
You will be responsible for the strategic development of sales opportunities for both existing and new customers, through the creation of new methods of selling, channel partnerships and market development. You will meet on a regular basis with the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (\"CSMO\") to review marketing strategies and CMR goals.
You will have direct oversight and leadership of the CMR/MEWA sales, support and account management teams.
You will be required to meet CMR's sales, retention and service objectives and goals which are established for CMR clients and CMR from time to time. You will also be responsible for developing meaningful goals and measurements for the sales and service team that align with these goals and CMR directives.
In order to drive results, you will be required to build relationships with new associations, key consultants and groups to consistently develop new business for CMR. You will be required to work with legal counsel, CMR partners and clients to identify opportunities and contract with partners deemed appropriate to engage in business relationships. You will be required to complete sales presentations to associations, high level groups and brokers which provide detailed information with appropriate materials and giveaways related to client plans. You will maintain an expert level of knowledge on CMR products and services, client products and services and all vendor partner products and programs to provide and develop cross selling opportunities.
The Sr. Vice President, Sales and Business Development is also responsible for overseeing the day to day sales operations of CMR. You must work with the CSMO to create and implement sales and market goals and objectives for the CMR Team. You will be responsible for direct oversight of the account management team in ensuring customers are receiving a best in class experience.
The Sr. Vice President, Sales and Business Development will be responsible for providing meaningful reporting on membership and trends, as well as consistent and detailed competitive data for CMR's markets to be shared with Executive Management and client Boards. You will provide thought leadership and strategy over our Jet Insure quoting and enrollment system to ensure data accuracy, platform innovation, and broker and group adoption.
You will work directly with the clients plan actuary on large group sales to ensure that the rates and underwriting for these groups is adequate. Additionally, you will work with the plan actuary to develop and ensure appropriate renewal rating for the MEWA health plan. Along with the CSMO, you will be responsible for ensuring the Plan meets appropriate loss ratios and therefore must ensure the thorough evaluation and rating of large groups to ensure the plan is not bringing in unnecessary risk.
You will support CMR Executive Leadership in developing, evaluating, and selling national MEWA opportunities. These opportunities may require national travel, as well as an excellent working relationship with CMR's legal, actuary, underwriting, and stop loss partners. You will be required to meet with prospective clients and brokers/agents as well as with the Department of Insurance for these national MEWA opportunities to present the opportunity of filing, as well as demonstrate CMR's unique ability to administer these health plans.
The Sr. Vice President, Sales and Business Development will assist CMR Executive Leadership with Board governance and support for our MEWA clients. This includes ensuring board materials, reports and are accurate, creating proposals for MEWA product or service enhancements, meeting facilitation, and being a direct conduit for our Trustees.
The position also requires original, independent and critical thinking to develop new or improved products, efficiencies, processes, and ideas in undeveloped areas in the marketplace. The Sr. Vice President, Sales and Business Development must be able to demonstrate strong presentation and communication skills, must be able to motivate current staff to meet goals and objectives and ensure that staff is maintaining and servicing current clients, and must be able grow and develop the business through innovative ideas and relationship building.
