Job Summary:

Comcast Business is looking for a seasoned, enthusiastic content development professional with deep B2B and tech experience to join its growing Brand Marketing team and own all things content strategy and development. This role will sit within the Marketing Communications team in Comcast Business and will be responsible for developing the strategy and vision for Comcast Business content as well as executing final deliverables to populate owned, paid, and earned messaging ecosystem. The Marketing Communication team is responsible for driving brand awareness, consideration, conversion, and loyalty by translating business goals into meaningful and customer-centric content across various channels.

This content leader will be responsible for ensuring Comcast Business is developing content that aligns to the overall business and brand goals and elevate the brand's position in the marketplace. Responsibilities include guiding paid editorial content with media partners to managing independent thought leadership developed by company or external stakeholders. Deliverables range from white papers, eBooks, videos, long-form articles and blogs, webinars, and more. Content will run across all B2B segments from SMB to mid-market and ENT topics with a focus on technology and innovation. Candidate should be well-versed in B2B communications, technical writing, and product trends in the B2B networking and product innovation space.

The content developed by this team member will be a highly visible role within the organization. This person will be expected to partner across internal cross-functional teams at CHQ and Divisions as well as agency partners to drive meaningful results by shaping and executing content and programs with a long-term vision. Ideal candidate is a big, strategic thinker who can structure a long-term vision while also delivering day-to-day needs and requirements. Prioritization, sense of urgency, and great attitude is a must! This person will be a core part of the team working on marquee brand programs.

Core Responsibilities:

* Lead content strategy and pipeline for Comcast Business across social platforms and owned Community site
* Work with business partners across CHQ, Divisions, and Regions to translate business goals into content ideas and programs
* Integrate with cross-agency team to develop, execute, and maximize paid, owned, and earned messaging and content strategy
* Own reporting and optimization of content programs and initiatives; guide measurement planning and approach
* Ensure sponsored content media budgets align to strategy set forth by SMB and MM / ENT marketing teams and that content and budgets are aligned to business strategy and goals
* Own distribution of content to cross-functional team (social, sales, .com, etc.)
* Ensure budget alignment and management
* Guide content development with external agency partners and media entities (i.e., Inc, Entrepreneur, etc.) to drive Comcast Business thought leadership and industry credibility with B2B and technology space
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Job Specification:

* Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
* Generally requires 8-11 years related experience
* Deep B2B technology experience; telecommunications, networking, and/or unified communications experience a huge plus
* Strong leadership skills; excellent communicator, collaborator and presenter
* Ability to organize, analyze and report on data from multiple systems and lead complex projects
* Strong written communications and live presentation skills
* Digital publishing, content strategy and/or enterprise content management
* Technical copywriting and editing
* Agency management skills
* Must exhibit potential for strong internal influence and relationship building
