The Comcast Center Internship Program (CCIP) is an internship program based at our headquarters in Philadelphia, PA The program is designed to identify high-caliber talent to build our organization with the best and the brightest students who come from a variety of sourcing channels, including on-campus career fairs, partner organizations, and direct applications. In this role you will immerse yourself into the Comcast culture, working side by side with innovative and talented Comcasters. You will cultivate meaningful relationships and develop strong interpersonal and business skills that will set you apart from your peers. As an intern in the program, you would expect to work a 30-40 hour/week schedule.

This role will be within the Brand Marcom/Media team. The media team develops strategies across TV, Digital, Social, Radio, Out Of Home, and Print to drive awareness and consideration goals for the Xfinity portfolio of products. This team also manages the Activation & investment of the paid media budget and manages the Owned Assets for Comcast. The Media Specialist Intern supporting Operations and Stewardship will be responsible for ensuring tactical and operational execution of all media campaigns to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. This hands-on position will require managing complex details around campaign execution; as well as ensuring effective budget management, post buy analysis and reporting for all media, and be future forward in process improvement Additionally, responsibilities for this position include collaboration with the media team and agency team to evaluate social media best practices and competitive information.
* Buy Stewardship: Ensures that our media campaigns run as planned across all media, with special focus on Broadcast and Digital. * Manage process for conducting post buy analysis and ensuring action plans are in place to maximize the effectiveness of our media investment * Reporting: Responsible for managing reporting, including budget roll ups, billing reconciliation, PO management, etc. * Process Improvement: Ongoing focus on streamlining processes across cross functional team to ensure executional excellence across all media campaigns * Budget management: Responsible for managing team budget and working with internal and external stakeholders on billing and reconciliation * Strategy and Innovation: Identify future forward methodologies to conduct digital stewardship and post buy measurement; as well as investigate potential approaches that solve for viewability and ad fraud in digital media; Support Media Strategy and Planning teams to set and implement infrastructure that brings the media strategic plan to fruition
* Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university with the Grad year of 2020 (Juniors). * Major: Communications, Marketing, Media Planning, and Advertising * Minimum GPA: 3.2 * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft PowerPoint * Experience with Microsoft Excel, required * Must have excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills * Must have great attention to detail and organizational skills * Must have ability to interface with all levels of management * Must be able to work evenings (when necessary) * Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. * Strong interest in the telecommunications, cable and media industries. * Ability to work on a team. * Authorized to work in the United States of America. * Comcast is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer M/F/D/V
