Business Unit:

Job Summary:

Comcast's Manager, Campaign Reporting will play a critical role in designing, directing and implementing our marketing campaign reporting strategy within Comcast Cable. This individual will support long-term back-end functions and provide data analytical support to our marketing stakeholders. Scope includes import, clean and transforms data with the purpose of understanding and to provide results to decision makers.

Core Responsibilities:

* Maintain campaign reporting daily ETL processing via Hadoop platform via LINUX Shell Scripting.
* Analyze large, complex data that can be transformed for use by third party reporting tools. (Tableau, Cognos)
* Write complex SQL that will aid in the campaign reporting process.
* Participate in delivering business intelligence solutions for projects and ad-hoc requests.
* Follows best practices and established policies in data analysis, maintenance and data quality.
* Collaborates with technical and marketing teams to ensure business requirements are met in the creation and deployment of new reporting metrics.
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specification:

* Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
* Generally requires 6-9 years related experience, specically including but not limited to: SQL Programming, Hadoop, Linux, AWS, Business Intelligence
* Must be well versed in data compiling and manipulation; Tableau experience not required but a plus
* Proficiency in Linux, Unix, Microsoft Windows
* Demonstrated proven record of success developing and executing effective data-driven analytics
* Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
* Strong business acumen and judgment with an ability to work through complex problems finding new and creative ways to achieve goals
* Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services preferred
* Strategic planning and or management consulting experience desirable
