Program Overview

The Comcast Cooperative Educational Program (Co-op) immerses students into the daily operations of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. Designed for students whose curriculum allows for a cooperative learning track, the co-op becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units. Throughout the experience, there is opportunity for exposure to mentorship and professional development while having some fun along the way.

Role Overview

The Town Hall and Forum is a space where stories are shared, ideas are inspired and collaboration and community come first. A unique and flexible space, we work to program and host an exciting range of events that affords us to think big, be creative, and find unexpected and inspiring ways to learn from each other and bolster our community.

The Campus Tour program educates employees and relevant stakeholders on Comcast's history and corporate culture, informs participants about Comcast's impact on the region and beyond in the areas of innovation, community and global impact, and showcases the products Comcast has to offer.

The Team is looking for young, energetic co-op(s) to support a robust tour program across the Comcast campus with the opening of the new Comcast Technology Center. In addition to leading tours, these Co-Ops will support events in the Ralph J. Roberts Forum - a multi-use, high production event venue-and other special projects related to the Comcast campus.

Co-op responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Support a robust tour program across the Comcast campus with the opening of the new Comcast Technology Center.
* In addition to leading tours, these CoOps will support events in the Ralph J. Roberts Forum

Preferred Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a United Statesbased college or university that has a cooperative learning track
* Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 23rd, 2019.
* Preferred Majors: Philosophy, English, Political Science, Psychology, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Operations Management, Sports Management, Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Tourism and Hospitality Management
* 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA preferred
* Team player
* Personable
* Strong interest in the telecommunications, cable and media industries.
* Authorized to work in the United States of America

Core Responsibilities:

* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
