The Comcast Cooperative Educational Program (Co-op) immerses students into the daily operations of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. Designed for students whose curriculum allows for a cooperative learning track, the co-op becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units. The mission of the Comcast Talent Experience Team is to work together as a functionally integrated team to deliver results, enable awesome experiences, and drive \"promoter-like\" behaviors for candidates and new hires.
Support the Comcast Talent Experience team, specifically on the Interview Experience side to help create awesome brand experiences for our candidates. Main responsibilities include interview scheduling, escorting candidates to their interviews on Comcast's campus, and assisting with other responsibilities as needed.
The Talent Experience co-op/intern will play a role in achieving one of Comcast Talent's Big Bets: \"Humanize the Comcast Talent Brand\". The co-op/intern will work cross-functionally across multiple business units, supporting candidates and new hires across the entire organization, and have the opportunity to gain insight and knowledge into the multiple functions within Comcast. This role will provide experience in Operations, Communications, and Talent Acquisition (Recruiting) that will provide an excellent foundation for future co-op/internship opportunities, as well as future full-time roles.
Co-op responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Schedules and prepares candidate interviews by sending confirmations, itineraries, coordinating travel arrangements, managing interview day logistics (e.g. security,) and providing timely follow up to the candidate * Work closely with Interview Experience Coordinators to support interview schedules * Reviews and approves candidate expenses * Delivers a superior, conciergelike candidate experience * Provides executive level service and functions as a candidate's point of contact through interviewing lifecycle * Supports day-of operations of the New Hire Orientation Day 1 program * Reports back to recruiter any candidate feedback, unexpected occurrences (anything that could affect the desired outcome) * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned * Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a United Statesbased college or university that has a cooperative learning track * Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 23rd, 2019. * Preferred Majors: Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Organizational Management * 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA preferred * Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment * Prior coop/internship experience * Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and use flexibility when scheduling as needed * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, working in a collaborative and professional style * Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to work in a rapidlychanging environment * Exceptional organizational skills * Authorized to work in the United States of America * Comcast is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer M/F/D/V
