Ogilvy Health, Client Financial Services (CFS), is looking for an energetic individual to serve as the primary billing & financial reporting interface with our clients. Customer Service skills, as well as strong communication, analytical, time management and excel skills are required for this position. The ability to be flexible but firm and able to enforce company policies & procedures is necessary in our fast-paced environment. Our dynamic department is looking for someone who can work independently as well as part of the team and possesses the ability to escalate issues and ask for assistance when needed. Depending on client assignment the well-organized individual will be responsible for the daily management of client finances including but not limited to:. Preparation, review and timely production of client invoicing using JDE Edwards. Ability to identify, communicate and address Invoice variances (which could include job setup errors, transactional anomalies, budget issues, etc.). Accurate and timely job setup and maintenance. Ensure client contract compliance. Preparation & review of client financial reports (some reporting requires advanced Excel skills such as Vlookups & Pivot Tables). Tracking of costs vs. client budgets. Leading monthly financial status meetings with internal teams. A/R collections, WIP review and resolution of unapplied cash. Ability to assess and identify items at risk of non-payment from clients (both A/R & WIP). Organization of daily work as well as day to day maintenance of client records. Review & enforcement of company policies. Special projects and assignments as needed. Collaborates with the other finance department staff to support overall department goals and objectives.. College degree required; Finance or Accounting focus a plus. Must be PC proficient and have solid experience in Microsoft Excel. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills along with the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines also required.. Time management is important in managing work load as well as meeting all client deadlines. Depending on client assignments this position may require travel to our 11th Ave NYC office for monthly meetings (limited to once or twice a month).
