The Vice President, Data Analytics will be accountable for leading, growing and maintaining a talented team who are experts in data management. Their responsibilities will include ensuring data is effectively managed, organized, QA'd and readily available for end users across the analytics practice. The VP will work cross functionally, partnering with the product development team and data product owners to ensure efficiency, speed and accuracy are prioritized and recognized.. Drive CMI's vision to provide actionable analytics to clients across multiple online and offline channels. Build and execute client specific data strategies including performing gap assessments, creating optimal state data plans, and building execution. roadmaps. Prototype new dashboards and data deliverables ensuring efficiency, speed and value. Work collaboratively with Product development team to translate business needs into data needs. Identify education and tools needed to expand data literacy across team. Explore and educate teams on the best way to manipulate data based on the business needs. Create custom or ad hoc reporting queries to support internal and external stakeholders. Translate business strategy into data strategy / requirements for the products and solutions for the business units, and identify related data gaps and required remediation.. Accountable for ensuring up to date documentation is in place. Ensure quality assurance practices are created and followed. Partner closely with other analytic leads ensuring client satisfaction. Coordinate and partner with client finance team to ensure work is scoped and tracked appropriately. Lead, motivate and mentor a team of data analysts. Manage staff productivity, assignments and allocation. Establish and track both corporate goals in collaboration with the other pillars within the analytics organization. Establish and track personal development goals for each employee. BA/BS required. MBA/other graduate degree preferred. 10+ years in related marketing, analytics , data experience. 5+ years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred. Sufficient technical capabilities to be able to guide the team methodologically, come up with direction for tools, and be able to service or identify partnerships around growth. Highly skilled in manipulating data sets and creating visualizations on key platforms. Analytics experience within an integrated and digital communications and/or media agency background preferred.. Experience leading, teaching, and integrating a diverse team.. Very strong interpersonal skills, can collaborate across many functions and build bridges of trust and mutual respect
