An outstanding non-profit medical center in Central Washington is actively interviewing for a Senior Nursing Director to oversee a complex and enriching role in Nursing Quality Improvement, Risk Management, and Infection Control. Serving in a role that ??s equal parts administrator, educator, and leader, the Senior Quality Risk Management Nursing Director will play a central role in the effective and efficient operations of this community medical system. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer and the Hospital Medical Director, the Senior Director of Quality, Risk, and Infection Management will develop, implement, and evaluate programs that address issues at the core of every acute care hospital environment; issues such as patient and staff safety, the collection and reporting of quality data, ensuring that proper infection prevention processes are in place, and acting as the lead for TJC Survey proceedings and accreditations. The SR Director of Nursing Quality, Risk Management, and Infection Control will spearhead and oversee multiple, complex program aimed at overall process improvement throughout the medical center and the health system. Overall Quality Measurement & Improvement: Working in collaboration with Nurse Leadership, you ??ll develop and evaluate quality programs to deliver the highest quality patient care and employee satisfaction Risk Management / Mitigation & Employee Health: Working with internal and external stakeholders, you ??ll stay abreast with current trends in best practices to ensure the hospital ??s employees and administrators Infection Control: planning infection control activities both for individual departments and hospital-wide initiatives, collect and analyze infection data Overall Process Improvement: serve as the hospital ??s subject matter expert on the integration of LEAN processes throughout the hospital ??s departments.
