This is an exciting time to join the Derwent Innovation Product Management team as we reinvent the platform and build new and innovative features for a developing market. In this role you will use your skills as a Product Manager to uncover new and unmet pain points and work with a talented team to deliver solutions that meet user needs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects in various phases from idealization to launch.

The Product Manager must be able to work across multiple functional areas across Clarivate Analytics, as you will be asked to:

* Understand target customers, their needs, wants, and aims to develop market leading products and components that exceed our customers' expectations.
* Manage the product discovery process for your components. Including customer interviews, workflow analysis, and problem statement prioritization.
* Develop a vision for your component areas and prioritize new features for the roadmap
* Own the performance of your components by defining and monitoring success criteria for new products, features, and enhancements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders in Technology, User Experience, Marketing, and Sales to deliver on business goals.
* Write user stories and prioritize requirements for projects to communicate complex business challenges.

The Product Manager should be self-motivated and have experience working with both business and technology teams with a strong business focus. The Product Manager should be strategic, detailed-oriented, analytical, and process-driven. Some of the necessary skills include:

* Analytical and innovative thinker, with ability to translate new ideas into relevant product offerings and to challenge business operating models when necessary.
* Excellent written, verbal, and face-to-face communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak comfortably in a variety of settings including one-on-one, in front of large groups, or remotely.
* Proven track record as a self-starter, with demonstrated ability to work toward long-term strategic goals.
* Ability to manage details while never losing sight of the big picture.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests, as well as multiple projects at varying stages of completeness and with aggressive schedules.

Qualifications:

* Ability to travel up to 25%.
* Bachelors Degree
* 5 plus years of experience as a Product Manager in Information Technology or experience in Intellectual Property.
