  • Demonstrate business and clinical expertise when building a strategic plan and guiding the team to enable and influence sales results in prioritized Systems of Care, within an assigned budget
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and build a high-performing, motivated and engaged team while developing individual talent and managing performance
  • Coach team to develop & implement pull through plans that enable and influence demand across the skilled nursing facilities, residential nursing homes, and assisted living facilities belonging to the Tier 1 chains, including:Develop understanding of organization level of formulary control and willingness to control based on past behaviorEnable patient access to CVM products in skilled nursing facilities to enable catchment of institutional discharges and optimal transition of careEnable and influence utilization of our CVM products in prioritized Systems of Care
  • Ensure successful partnership between specialty representatives and LTC Key Account Msnagers to develop and execute a channel-focused business plan with targeted objectives to enable and influence demand across Tier 1 nursing home chains & their contracted pharmacies
  • Facilitate local market business analysis with team members and their associated local sales leaders to find opportunities and prioritize activities for the CVM business
  • Train and enhance the large account management, consultative skills, and clinical expertise of team members to ensure effective selling
  • Work collaboratively with internal business partners, including but not limited to, Brand, Field Sales, Strategic Customer Group, and Medical Affairs, as appropriate to address market needs, maximize efforts, and achieve business goals
  • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of previous success and be able to connect the dots to identify opportunities and execute effectively. The candidate must communicate clearly and concisely, function as a market knowledge expert and provide strategic partnership with local management teams.

    Job Requirements Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an encouraging manner, the ideal candidate has:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required
  • A valid drivers license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States and a clean driving record is required
  • At least five (5) years of successful management and/or supervisory experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional Long-Term Care Account Sales experience or a minimum of five (5) years of Business to Business Account Management experience
  • Large account management experience
  • Fluency in post-acute care & long-term care required
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare benefit design, GPOs, and how reimbursement works in the Long Term Care setting.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking, ability to balance short and long- term goals
  • Experience in developing and implementing business plans, including identification, evaluation, and impact of opportunities
  • The ability to travel, which may include overnight / weekend travel, up to 70% of the time, in support of the business, is required
  • Candidates must satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements, including, but not limited to TB tests, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and Varicella (chicken pox)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in a related field or an MBA
  • Existing relationships with the LTC community
  • Experience in Cardiovascular market
  • Working knowledge of Nursing Home Chains and the larger National and Regional Long Term Care dispensing pharmacies.
