Boeing Communications and Global Brand Experience is seeking a strategic, customer-focused professional to oversee a multi-channel marketing, communications and public program infrastructure at the Future of Flight. The Future of Flight is a public facility that showcases aviation/aerospace innovation and the Boeing Tour. It is one of Puget Sound s most popular tourist attractions. The Future of Flight welcomes more than 320,000 visitors every year to experience the Boeing Tour of the Everett Factory. In addition, the facility hosts conferences, events and community activities, as well as various educational engagements.
The Marketing and Audience Development Manager will champion customer-centric external communications and onsite program development to enhance the Customer Journey, while measuring customer engagement and satisfaction. This role will work closely with the Tour Operations Manager and Senior Management to develop and execute the vision for the Future of Flight. The Marketing and Audience Development Manager will set department goals, manage an aggregated budget and lead process improvements that support the overall operation. This role will continually develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Develops strategies for documenting, measuring and improving the customer journey.
Collaborates to create plans; assigns authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plans.
Reviews plans' execution, makes appropriate adjustments, and resolves issues.
Monitors appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan. Identify opportunities to grow earned revenue.
Provides direct management support and strategic guidance for Marketing, Communications and Public Programming teams.
Oversees integrated communications and marketing functions for the organization, lead continued customer-centric growth at the Future of Flight, building relevant Brand-oriented storytelling and engagement with our community.
Identifies, prioritizes, and engages with various target audiences to optimize visitation.
Develops relationships and co-sponsored activities with partner institutions.
Counsels, mentors and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.
Build internal communications systems to strengthen employee satisfaction and build brand ambassadors with employees and volunteers.
Forecasts resource needs; aggregates near term and long term budgets and provides periodic progress reports.
Oversees coordination of projects with outside and/or internal vendors such as copywriters, graphic designers, web developers, photographers and printers.
Responsible for leading creative development, production, proofreading/editing, fact-checking, delivery and deadline management of each project.
Proactively communicates with employees, peers and customers.
Keeps others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to employee concerns and suggestions.
Communicates policies and directives to enhance employee awareness of expectations.
Collaborates closely with the Future of Flight management team.
Other duties as assigned.
3+ years in budgeting and forecasting
3+ years leading or managing cross functional teams
3+ years in customer service
3+ years with global marketing, brand management or positioning strategies
Experience creating and developing strategy plans
