Must use proper handling of linens, chemicals, and equipment. Ensure the highest quality of service according to Preferred Hotel standards.Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:Know the operating function of all washers, dryers, and ironer.Sort used linen by type.Load and unload washers and dryers.Keep all lint traps clean.Participate in high quality pressing on linens.Maintain daily production record and report any damaged linens.Process hotel guest laundry, inspect for torn, cracked, and missing buttons.Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.Fold towels, sheets, pillow cases, robes, and other clean linens.Transport clean and folded linen to housekeeping closets and stock them on shelves.Any and all other duties as assigned.Arrive at work at your assigned time, ready and in the proper uniform (clean and ironed). Punch time clock only when you are ready to begin work.Have working knowledge of cleaning products and materials in accordance with OSHA regulations and the hotel safety guidelines.Have the ability to interact verbally and effectively with all hotel guests and employees in a polite and positive manner.Any other tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
