Our Tachyon platform enables capabilities that address chip design, photomask making and wafer printing for semiconductor manufacturing and the LithoTuner platform enables lithography optimization for ASML?s leading photo lithography tools, known as ?scanners?.
We are seeking candidates to join a team of engineers developing new leading-edge products. Pattern Fidelity Metrology, or PFM, provides maps of pattern defects and out-of-spec patterns for every wafer processed in the Fab. PFM uses state-of-the-art electron-beam inspection systems to verify locations where patterns are predicted to be out-of-spec. For prediction, PFM relies on a combination of full-chip computational lithography to identify patterns most sensitive to process variability, as well as wafer metrology data to map out process variations on every wafer. ?
This position reports to HMI?s PFM product engineering manager and works with the team to solve the challenges associated with finding critical defects at the 10-nm node and below. The successful candidate is expected to lead a small team of software engineers to develop a software product that can guide wafer inspection and metrology using advanced e-beam systems:
-Use Python and C++ to build software.
-Understand existing product features and data flow, apply relevant algorithms or statistical methods, in order to enhance the performance and robustness of the product.
-Demonstrate and prototype methodology and algorithms.
-Think strategically about applications, gaps and technical-business tradeoffs.
Post-graduate degree in C.S., E.E. or equivalent experience.?
-Proficient in Python.
-Experience leading a team of SW developers.
-Able to work independently, in addition to leading team.
-Intimate knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression and classification, cluster analysis, and related optimization algorithms.
-Knowledge of agile software development techniques (sprints, scrum management).
-Knowledge of data analysis techniques (probability, statistics, machine learning) with strong analytical skills. Ability to solve problems with a creative blend of analytical, mathematical and technical skills.
-Effective visualization, and oral and written communication skills.
-Advanced knowledge of C++, Matlab.
-Working knowledge of IC manufacturing, semiconductor process technology, and related fields.
-Knowledge of optical physics and imaging and semiconductor process technology.
