In this role you will:* Under broad and limited management direction, work at the highest authority limits on assignments reflecting the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination in adjudicating Construction Claims in the New York City and surrounding region. Types of losses would include general liability, third party property damage, and third party bodily injury with a focus on New York Labor Law.* Analyze claim forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions and other records to determine whether the loss falls within the policy coverage* Other duties, such as investigating claims, managing diary, setting claim reserves, preparing reports, negotiating settlements, etc.What will you need to be successful here?* A minimum of ten years' experience adjudicating claims with extensive familiarity with New York Labor Law claims.* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a passion for continued learning.* Ability to articulate the financial value of your work at multiple responsibility levels inside our clients' business which may include the CEO.* We work in a fast paced environment that is evolving constantly; so flexibility and the ability to thrive in change are important to be successful here.* With lots of tasks competing for your time, excellent time management and prioritization skills are important.* Like the other Adjusters you will be working with, you'll need a good head on your shoulders to create innovative strategies to resolve claims to the best possible outcome.* Natural curiosity is key.* Being able to communicate with empathy is crucial.* An appreciation and passion for strong claim management.What will we provide to you?* An opportunity to be your best and work with talented and inventive professionals at a Company Forbes magazine named to its list of America's 50 Most Trustworthy Financial Companies for the last two years and that A.M.
