SUMMARY The Manager, M&A will bring analytical and operational expertise to support the elevation of human resources capability on M&A. This role will support the development of the HR M&A playbook by designing and implementing new tools, training and resources that enable repeatable, scalable and standardized execution. This individual will provide data management and financial analysis expertise to support due diligence milestones and activities and support the integration planning and execution as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead HR due diligence in identifying HR, compensation and benefit plan exposures Support the virtual data room analysis to identify gaps and risks associated with the acquisition Own and manage sensitive employee related data analyses (e.g. headcount, salary, benefits, etc.) in partnership with the broader COE/HRBP team members and Business Development team Contribute to the analysis/modeling of compensation and job leveling activities for M&A harmonization efforts Drive the global coordination and project management associated with HR integration activities Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HR M&A Toolkit by identifying ways to improve HR's posture - via automation, simplification and other types of process improvement Ensure HR M&A tools, best practices and lessons learned are well documented Contribute to the development of training materials that support deal activity and update/maintain content for internal HR Teams Provide clear leadership by demonstrating understanding of business trends and needs Provide HR Business Partner support to our Business Development organization MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or Human Resources A minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR business partner or as a project manager with a focus on Human Resources and/or M&A Strong quantitative and analytical skills, proficiency building reports and using MS Excel High level of maturity, including ability to maintain highly sensitive information Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity Strong business acumen Demonstrable Project Management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, analyze data and communicate recommendations Comfortable working in an environment with tight deadlines and imperfect information Ability to absorb, analyze and process large quantities of disparate information and synthesize quickly with attention to detail Ability to work with a management and employee population that is widely dispersed outside of the headquarters location PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to travel as needed, often on short notice (frequency will vary, typically not more than 20%) Previous experience with Mergers & Acquisitions preferred PHR/SPHR certification a plus Relevant industry experience, particularly in engineering software, is a plus CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
