Process Technician is responsible for automated wire and ribbon bonding and welding in the manufacturing of complex semiconductor and microwave electronic products. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on complex automated assembly equipment alongside engineers to develop programs and support new product introduction. The Process Technician will be guided by a senior process engineers along with development engineer and is responsible for following project plans, preventative maintenance, set-up, and troubleshooting of equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of electronics construction and a strong aptitude and interest in working with automated and manual assembly equipment as well as the communication skills required to work with engineering, documenting processes and training operators and other process technicians.
* 10+ years' experience in electronics assembly process support.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
* General working knowledge automated processing equipment, specifically wafer handling auto inspection and pick and place.
* Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope is necessary
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD are a plus.
